Mary is on Summer Break and is enjoying the time to catch up on sewing, reading, watching movies, traveling, and seeing friends in the Bay!
Mary Hill received her A.A. degree from Foothill College, where she spent two years in the Foothill Theatre Conservatory Program with an emphasis in acting. She is in her second year at UC San Diego & is working on her BA in Theatre Arts with a Dance minor.
Since 2006 Mary has performed with the "The Great Dickens Christmas Fair," playing one of the Miss Fezziwigs. This involves improvisational sketches and teaching dances complete with 1840's costumes & corsets. It's her greatest joy at Christmas!
Over the summer of 2012 Mary studied at LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) for eight weeks in their Shakespeare and Jacobean course. It was an amazing opportunity to study theatre in London. She saw forty shows!
Summer is here! For her final partial year she'll still be the technical director of Company 157, a student production company on campus. And she'll be sure to find ways to keep herself busy as things come up! She has this summer to think of a final honor's thesis to work on these last two quarters she's at UC San Diego.
